Introducing… September 15, 2007

100_3414.jpgour latest creation…;)  I is 2 months old now.  We can hardly believe how much she’s grown and how fast the time passes.  She’s a sweet, sweet baby.  This pic is of her sleeping in her bed with the pillow and blankie her Tia Amanda sent her.  She is very tolerant of her brother and sisters.  It can be very noisy around here but she has learned to sleep through it all.  She sleeps well through the night and pacifies herself with her thumb when she wakes.  Our first thumb sucker.  It’s very cute to see such a small baby figure out how to suck their thumb.  I’m sure it will be a pain to break her of later, but later is later.

On another note, we had Aspen “fixed” yesterday.  She is doing fine, very sedate since she came home this morning but happy to be here.  She is our wonder dog.  We missed her when she was gone…she’s only been ours for a week now but it doesn’t take much to fall in love when the conditions are right.  We’ve had her microchipped as well.  Interesting concept and very affordable so we went ahead.  She’s such an awesome dog we wouldn’t want to lose her so now she has her own GPS.

OOOOOhhhhhhhh…Germaine and I put up the ceiling fan in our bedroom.  This may not seem like a big deal to most but…let’s just say I have project completion issues.  The fan sat assembled in the open box in the corner of my room for about 2 yrs.  Today we decided to do something together and so the fan has been installed.  It’s so nice to have air circulating in our room and very rewarding to have done it ourselves.  So rewarding in fact that we’ve decided to do something each Saturday morning.  Not like it’s hard to complete a project that is half done already anyway.  Next up, finish painting the living room.  Yep, you guessed it…2 years half painted.  Bad.

X will be starting his piano lessons again next week.  It’s a lot of fun for him.  He is actually learning on a digital piano which he finds terribly interesting being that he can make all kinds of fun, strange and creepy noises with it.  His recital at the end of last year was so cool.  We can’t wait to see how he will progress this year.

C has started preschool.  It’s a co-op, 2 days a week, with some other moms, mainly from church.  We’ll all take turns having weeks to host and teach in our homes.  There are 9 or 10 kids but the fact that they already know each other from their primary class at church really makes it fun for them.  I am excited to take my turn and see for myself how great the kids are.  M misses C terribly when she’s gone but it gives her and mommy some fun time together.

I guess that’s the update in Wooville for now.  Ahhh…one more thing…this week we are expecting Sylvia, aka Granny, and Cousin Elayn and her 2 kids for a visit.  Pray for us ;)…ours is a home full of love and soon full of people.

Awww she’s adorable. Anytime you need a babysitter, I’m your woman!

You guys sound like Steve and I with your DIY. We have a half painted master bedroom. Our front door is painted two colors of brown, Isabels room has a torn wall paper border, and our computer room has hole filler all over the walls. We have started to kick it up a notch and have finished a lot of odd jobs around the house, painting the garage door, outside windows Ect.

    Kisses to the kiddos.

Looks like the family is doing well! Do y’all have any pics of the new, four legged addition to the family posted? What kind of dog is it?

Ahhhh…Aspen is our 18 month old yellow lab. She came to us from a family in the Keller area. There is a pic of her above under the posting “tag you’re it”.
