Tonight was the Daddy Daughter dance at the elementary school. C has been looking forward to this night since she first heard about it a few weeks ago. Last week she and I went to buy a new dress and today I picked up her shoes and sweater. She picked the dress all on her own. It’s so different from what I would normally pick for her, but still in good taste. She’s really growing up! Dad and C were joined by Jason and Teagan, friends from church. The girls had lots of fun. C met up with some of her friends there and ran off giggling to the bathroom together…already it starts!!!!! She loves to spin around while she dances, which made for a great time for dad after he’d eaten lots of sugary treats from the refreshment table. We’re so lucky to have a dad who is excited to take his girls out and treat them like little ladies. What a wonderful night for dad and C!
